Inspiration for this poem came from a 12th century Korean poem; Summer Clouds, by Chong Chisang
Sunny day: in the heart of the skyfloating clouds form peaks.
A monk at the sight wonders if there’s a temple there.
A crane looking on regrets the absence of pine.
A flash of lightning is the woodsman’s axe;
a peal of thunder is the bell of the hidden temple.
Who said mountains don’t move?
In the wind that rises with the fading light they fly!
