A white buffalo calf is a big deal
and it is said White Buffalo Woman
brought the pipe of peace to the Sioux
Relating that legend Black Elk says...
This they tell,
and whether it happened so or not I do not know;
but if you think about it, you can see that it is true

In years to come they may speak of the spring
when the white bluebonnet
brought goodness back to Texas and the USA
